3.21.24 Marketing Thoughts…

I have been getting questions about what to do with new crop from clients so thought I would reach out with some thoughts on where prices “may” be headed. We are approaching 40% of the Tredas pre harvest marketing window for corn (Feb 1-July 15) and we have the Prospective Plantings report coming next Friday. This report has historically been impactful on the markets (both positively and negatively). If you are nervous about price direction or want ideas on where to put in sell/HTA orders or what levels to use options, this should be helpful. As always, no client is the same in marketing mentality, but we have rallied off the lows in corn and soybeans, and HRW is trying its best to rally! Please reach out if this sparks ideas or questions.
